2015 saw a major redesign to topsidelacrosse.com, a website that I had been maintaining since rebuilding it in 2012. Prior to then, the site was a template driven CMS design. The 2012 rebuild focused on a 960 grid system. While the site did it's job of providing company and event information, and the ability to take sign up's, it became outdated. Working closely with Justin Otto, Top Side's founder and president, we began strategizing a new layout and simpler user experience.
The previous Top Side Lacrosse version. 2012-2015
The 2012 version had boys and girls program completely split (girls.topsidelacrosse.com and boys.topsidelacrosse.com). The new redesign would bring both sides of Top Side back together to showcase how much the company offers. The layout would also finally be responsive, so no more scrolling on mobile and tablet devices.
I began sketching out wireframes and sample layouts of userflows in my gridbook, moving onto Sketch once the layouts took shape. The prototype was built using InVision, which helped greatly with onscreen feedback with Justin and his directors.

The new and improved website. 2016
Kyle has played an integral role in the growth and success of Top Side Lacrosse through his help developing and updating our website. His responsiveness and attention to detail allowed me to focus more on my business and worry less about the appearance and effectiveness of my website.
